The choir was formed by Mrs Edith Roe in 1972. It was initially a ladies only choir and men were admitted in the 1990s. For many years, the choir has supported Tonbridge Cottage Hospital, holding a summer concert each year with all profits going to the League of Friends, resulting in donations of thousands of pounds. Latterly we have also performed Christmas concerts with half of the profits going to a different charity each year.
The choir is also happy to perform to groups and clubs for free, but would welcome a donation.

Since January 23, the choir has been under the direction of John Hendry.

In January 24, Geraint Hylton joined us as an accompanist.
